Monish puts AI agents on your lock screen
Monish is a free iPhone app that connects Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, n8n, or cron to iOS lock-screen notifications through one pasted command. It shows live progress and completion updates, while letting users approve or deny deployments, messages, or spending without an account or computer-side SDK.
Monish targets a real bottleneck in agent workflows: human attention. Its strongest idea is making the lock screen a lightweight control surface instead of another dashboard.
- –One-line HTTPS setup keeps integration simpler than adopting an SDK, MCP server, or full orchestration platform
- –Live Activities make long-running tests, builds, deployments, and scripts glanceable without notification spam
- –Approve/Deny actions preserve human oversight for consequential agent operations
- –Expiring unanswered requests as “no” is a sensible fail-closed default
- –iOS-only support, server-mediated delivery, 48-hour payload retention, and private-key handling remain important trust and portability constraints
