Maestri launches infinite canvas for coding agents
Maestri is a native macOS app that turns multiple coding agents into movable nodes on an infinite canvas, letting you route work between Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or a plain shell without juggling terminal tabs. It also ships with Ombro, an on-device AI companion, plus one free workspace and an $18 one-time unlock for unlimited workspaces.
Maestri looks like the right abstraction for agent sprawl: not another chat box, but a spatial control room for parallel work. The canvas, notes, and on-device Ombro summaries are doing real coordination work here, and the zero-telemetry, no-cloud stance is a strong fit for privacy-sensitive Mac developers. The one-time $18 unlock is a nice anti-subscription hook, but the Mac-only, Apple Silicon-only footprint keeps the audience firmly in power-user territory.
