Google’s VibeStudio turns ideas into video workflows
Google Cloud’s live build introduces VibeStudio, a multimodal AI video studio built as a production-ready Agent Development Kit workflow. It ingests voice notes, photos, clips, and text, uses Gemini, Imagen, and Veo, pauses for human approval, remembers prior work, and deploys on Cloud Run.
The compelling part is orchestration, not autonomous generation: VibeStudio treats video production as a reliable workflow with checkpoints, memory, and asynchronous jobs.
- –ADK workflow graphs provide fan-out, parallel processing, joins, and routing beyond single-prompt agents
- –Multimodal RAG combines transcripts, images, videos, and comments into one production context
- –Human approval pauses and long-running Veo renders address two major failure modes in agentic media pipelines
- –Memory Bank callbacks let the studio retain production history across sessions
- –This is a reference architecture and codelab, not a turnkey YouTube automation product; developers still own quality control, API costs, and publishing policy
