tabsh brings coding agents into your browser
tabsh is a local-first Rust daemon that brings persistent shells and coding-agent sessions into a browser-based Kanban board, with terminal or chat views and automatic status updates via hooks. It is free, MIT-licensed, and supports macOS and Linux.
tabsh makes a strong bet that the browser is already the developer’s command center, so terminals and agents should live there too.
- –Localhost-only architecture keeps sessions and keystrokes on the developer’s machine.
- –Hook-driven statuses make multi-agent work easier to monitor.
- –Support for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, OpenCode, and custom commands avoids model or vendor lock-in.
- –Persistent sessions survive reloads, restarts, and closed laptops.
- –macOS/Linux support and local-only pairing limit its reach, but suit privacy-conscious solo developers.
