Flagsmith Experiments brings A/B tests to flags
Flagsmith launched a public beta that turns existing feature flags into warehouse-backed A/B experiments, with Bayesian chance-to-win and lift metrics. It supports managed storage or customer-owned ClickHouse and Databricks, and is available in Flagsmith’s open-source core and cloud service. ([Flagsmith](https://www.flagsmith.com/feature/experimentation-platform), [Product Hunt](https://www.producthunt.com/products/flagsmith/launches/flagsmith-experiments))
Flagsmith’s bet is that experimentation should be a natural continuation of release control, not a separate analytics project. The approach is compelling for engineering-led teams, though mature experimentation programs may outgrow the deliberately small v1.
- –Reuses existing multivariate flags and SDKs, reducing the work needed to move from rollout to measurement.
- –Bring-your-own-warehouse support improves data sovereignty and limits lock-in.
- –Segment targeting plus Amplitude and Mixpanel cohort sync connects experiments to existing audience workflows.
- –Ending an experiment by rolling out or reverting the same flag creates a tight release-to-decision loop.
- –MCP and CLI connectors make the platform more relevant to AI-assisted development workflows. ([Flagsmith](https://www.flagsmith.com/feature/experimentation-platform))
