OpenAI recruits ChatGPT Work beta testers
OpenAI engineering lead Thibault Sottiaux is assembling a feedback cohort of 50 to 100 ChatGPT Work users to test early features. Selected participants will get early access to new capabilities in exchange for feedback on usability and bug fixes.
Sourcing feedback directly from X allows the product team to establish high-signal, rapid feedback loops with power users while bypassing standard corporate testing channels.
- –Small cohort sizing (50-100 users) enables deep, qualitative discussions rather than broad, noisy telemetry.
- –Inviting users to specify "what we should fix" indicates a near-term focus on resolving usability friction and workflow pain points in ChatGPT's productivity-focused agentic features.
- –Direct outreach highlights the ongoing competition in developer and workspace AI tools, where user experience and stability are primary differentiators.
