Sill Streams Mac Windows to iPhone, iPad

Sill is a free, Apache-2.0 open-source app that streams individual Mac windows or the entire desktop to iPhone and iPad, with touch, Apple Pencil, keyboard, and trackpad control. It connects directly over Wi-Fi, USB, or VPN without accounts or relay servers. [GitHub](https://github.com/Saffsanity/sill)

// ANALYSIS

Sill’s strongest idea is selective, privacy-friendly remote control rather than mirroring an entire Mac display.

–Direct HEVC streaming and frame dropping prioritize responsiveness over perfect image quality
–USB, local Wi-Fi, peer-to-peer wireless, and VPN access make it more flexible than Apple’s built-in Sidecar
–Apple-only requirements limit its audience to Apple Silicon Macs and newer iPhone or iPad devices
–Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions may create setup friction for less technical users
–Its open-source, serverless architecture is compelling for privacy-conscious developers and homelab users

Its creator says the workflow produced 69 tailored applications, 20 first-round interviews, and one signed contract before he became an AI engineer.

AgentDecision-4B Makes Agent Loops 89% Cheaper

AgentDecision-4B is a LoRA-tuned Qwen3-4B adapter that handles bounded tool, argument, and completion choices inside agent harnesses, deferring uncertain states to larger language models. The paper reports 81.1–89.0% lower costs and up to 2.5× faster execution on familiar tasks, plus 91.5% success on shifted tasks. [Paper](https://arxiv.org/abs/2610.21412)

JevAgentHarness routes agent decisions with confidence gates

JevAgentHarness is an open-source proxy that routes routine agent decisions to fast models while escalating uncertain steps to stronger LLMs. Its AgentDecisionBench research reports major cost and latency reductions using per-choice confidence thresholds and the open AgentDecision-4B model.
