Basedash Adds Verified Dashboard Governance
Basedash now lets workspace admins mark trusted dashboards with a visible Verified chip, reviewer identity, timestamp, and audit-log history. The feature extends the same governance signal already used for verified models. [Announcement](https://www.basedash.com/blog/introducing-verified-dashboards)
This is a small interface change with outsized governance value: in AI-assisted BI, deciding which metric to trust matters as much as generating the chart. The main caveat is that persistent verification may require teams to define when substantive query or metric changes trigger re-review.
- –Admin-only verification prevents every dashboard editor from granting an official trust signal.
- –Duplicates start unverified, avoiding accidental inheritance of credibility.
- –Audit logging and reviewer metadata make accountability visible to data consumers.
- –Matching verification behavior across dashboards and models creates a consistent governance model.
- –For AI developers, this provides a practical approval layer around generated analytics, though it does not replace semantic validation of the underlying data.
