getdesign.md ships brand files for agents
getdesign.md launches a library of 69 DESIGN.md files that package brand-inspired colors, typography, spacing, components, motion, and voice for AI coding agents. Developers can drop the markdown files into Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, v0, or Bolt projects to steer generated UI toward recognizable design systems.
// ANALYSIS
This is a practical answer to a real vibe-coding problem: AI agents can build screens quickly, but without explicit design constraints they still drift toward generic UI.
- –Markdown design specs are low-friction enough to fit existing agent workflows without requiring teams to wire up Figma, tokens, or MCP infrastructure first
- –The value is strongest for prototypes, internal tools, and landing pages where “close to Stripe/Linear/Vercel” is useful direction, not a licensed design system
- –The risk is aesthetic cargo-culting: brand-inspired files can improve taste, but they do not replace product-specific UX decisions or accessibility checks
- –It sits between prompt libraries and full design-system integration, which makes it immediately useful but also easy for deeper Figma-native tools to outgrow
