Hermes Desktop gets live artifacts support
Nous Research developer Teknium highlighted that the native desktop GUI application for Hermes Agent includes support for full live artifacts, a feature that allows users to render, manage, and iterate on complex agent outputs side-by-side with their chat history. The native desktop app, which runs locally on macOS, Windows, and Linux, shares unified state, API keys, and memory with the CLI version, providing a user-friendly graphical interface for monitoring and orchestrating autonomous workflows.
Bringing dual-pane live artifacts to local agent environments drastically improves the agent supervision user experience, mimicking web-based features like Claude Artifacts.
* Separation of chat logs and generated files reduces cognitive load when managing multi-step workflows.
* Sharing context and state with the CLI allows power users to transition seamlessly between command-line and graphical interfaces.
* An interactive GUI workspace lowers the barrier to entry for non-developers wanting to run capable local agents.
