Agent-Native Clips Chrome extension drops
Builder.io has launched Agent-Native Clips, a free and open-source Chrome extension designed to send video-based bug reports directly to AI agents. The extension captures screen recordings, transcripts, and browser console/network logs, enabling agents to automatically reproduce and fix browser bugs.
Traditional bug reporting tools like Loom or Jam are built for human-to-human handoffs, but Agent-Native Clips shifts the destination directly to autonomous agents. By packaging execution context alongside human video, it closes the loop on end-to-end automated software maintenance.
- –Bundled browser logs (console and network requests) provide agents with the exact state trace needed for debugging, bypassing the need for tedious manual bug repro steps.
- –Being 100% open-source and part of the Agent-Native framework means developers can self-host the backend, customize redacted data filters, and build custom agent skills.
- –The extension integrates directly with coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor through the /visual-recap and /visual-plan slash commands, turning bug reports into actionable code modifications.
- –While it reduces human typing, agent reliability on complex multi-step UI flows remains a bottleneck, meaning human review of agent plans will still be necessary for the foreseeable future.
