Clui CC wraps Claude Code in UI
Clui CC is a lightweight macOS overlay for Claude Code that adds a floating, keyboard-first interface on top of the local CLI. It layers in multi-tab sessions, permission approvals, voice input, attachments, and history without replacing Claude Code itself.
This is less a new agent product than a UX layer that makes Claude Code feel like a desktop app, which matters because the main bottlenecks in Claude Code are workflow friction rather than model capability. It keeps the local-first Claude CLI workflow intact, the approval UI turns tool-call review into an explicit step, multi-tab sessions and resumable history help with parallel work and longer tasks, and voice input plus file or screenshot attachments push it beyond pure terminal use. The main risk is maintenance: wrapper tools like this need to track Claude Code changes quickly or they become brittle.
