SuperSplat demos hyper-detailed strawberry Gaussian Splat

This capture represents a high-water mark for macro-scale 3D reconstruction, bridging the gap between raw photogrammetry and web-ready interactive assets. By focus-stacking 88 images per perspective across 90 angles, the project solves shallow depth-of-field issues common in macro captures. The sub-25MB file size validates Gaussian Splatting as a superior alternative to mesh-based web 3D, while the use of slang-splat highlights a growing ecosystem of high-performance tools around SuperSplat’s open-source editor.
