Amp makes coding agent platform free for BYOK

Amp has announced that its AI agent platform is now free to use for developers who bring their own compute and model subscriptions or API keys. Under the new free Hobby tier, users no longer need a paid monthly Amp plan to connect their existing ChatGPT subscriptions, and Amp has eliminated BYOK token fees and limits across tiers. Users can run Amp agents entirely free on their own machines using local runners, or pay on a pay-as-you-go basis for Amp's remote cloud sandboxes ("orbs").
