EKOS 1.1.0 makes setup one command
EKOS 1.1.0 bundles its Rust knowledge compiler with a web console and pinned Python runtime, letting install.sh or install.ps1 launch a browser-based setup wizard. The release also adds one-button project compilation, chat, configuration, multi-tenant access, and an MCP gateway.
EKOS is moving from an ambitious compiler project toward usable AI infrastructure, and the installation overhaul is the most important feature because it removes the biggest barrier to experimentation.
- –Full packages eliminate the Rust toolchain and multi-command source-build path for supported platforms
- –The browser console turns compilation, configuration, permissions, and model setup into an operator workflow
- –MCP gateway support makes compiled, provenance-backed knowledge accessible to external agents over HTTP
- –One-button init-to-coverage gives developers a faster path from repository to inspectable knowledge graph
- –Checksums improve download integrity, but releases remain unsigned, leaving supply-chain verification as a gap
