Anthropic is donating Agent Skills to the Linux Foundation-backed Agentic AI Foundation, the same neutral home now stewarding MCP. The open SKILL.md standard has already reached more than 70 agent platforms, including ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and VS Code.
