OpenCode Discord bot converts Figma to OpenTUI
Kit Langton demonstrated a two-step automated workflow using the OpenCode Discord bot. After a user uploads a Figma screenshot of a new logo design, the bot reads the image file, generates the corresponding UI implementation code in OpenTUI, and shares a screenshot of the working interface back to the Discord channel.
Multimodal AI agents are transitioning from CLI-only developers into active collaborators within standard team chat applications.
- –**Multimodal Design-to-Code:** The demonstration highlights the practical use of vision-to-code models to bridge visual design mockups directly to terminal-based rendering code.
- –**Self-Verification Loop:** By compiling, running, and capturing a screenshot of its own implementation to share back with the user, the bot provides immediate visual confirmation of its success.
- –**Ecosystem Integration:** The synergy between the OpenCode agent and the high-performance Zig-based OpenTUI framework showcases a cohesive developer tools stack built by the Anomaly team.
