The Reddit thread is asking when "Qwen Image 2 Edit" will ship, but the official Qwen repo already says Qwen-Image-2.0 launched on February 10, 2026 with image generation and editing in one mode. In practice, the standalone edit-only sequel looks more like community shorthand than a separate announced product.
