Aikido Security earns ISO 42001 certification
Aikido Security says it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, an independently audited standard for AI management systems. The milestone adds AI-specific governance assurance to its existing ISO 27001 and SOC 2 posture.
This is meaningful enterprise plumbing, but it is not proof that every Aikido AI workflow is accurate or safe in every edge case.
- –ISO/IEC 42001 focuses on organization-wide AI governance, risk management, transparency, and continual improvement—not model performance benchmarks. [ISO](https://www.iso.org/standard/42001)
- –The certification is relevant to Aikido’s AI AutoFix, AutoTriage, and autonomous pentesting capabilities.
- –It could reduce procurement friction for regulated teams evaluating AI-powered security vendors.
- –Buyers should still request the certificate’s scope, audit findings, and evidence that governance controls cover each AI feature.
- –Certification complements application testing and human review; it does not replace them.
