OpenTrace maps codebases as queryable knowledge graphs
OpenTrace is an open-source platform that builds dynamic, queryable knowledge graphs of engineering systems to provide AI agents with real-time architectural context. By mapping code structure, service dependencies, and infrastructure through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it automates the "system-level awareness" that manual documentation fails to maintain.
The shift from static "LLM Wikis" to automated knowledge graphs is the logical evolution for AI-native engineering teams. OpenTrace solves the maintenance issues of manual documentation by automating the ingestion of code, traces, and infrastructure configuration.
