Orca video previews now resume across tab switches
Orca now preserves playback position in video previews when developers switch tabs, thanks to community contributor @Yigeyn. The small fix improves an agent IDE built around juggling terminals, diffs, browser tabs, and other workspace views.
This is unglamorous but valuable polish: losing playback position is exactly the kind of friction that makes multi-step agent workflows feel brittle.
- –Developers can review media artifacts without repeatedly scrubbing back to the same timestamp.
- –The fix complements Orca’s broader effort to preserve context across tabs and workspace views. [Orca browser documentation](https://www.onorca.dev/docs/browser/overview)
- –Community-driven UX improvements reinforce Orca’s open-source development model.
- –As coding agents generate more visual and multimedia outputs, reliable previews become increasingly important.
