Rex Beta Expands iOS, Server Access
Superlogical invited 12,000 more people to Rex this week, fully opened iOS testing to invitees, and grew Linux and FreeBSD server testing to roughly 2,000 users. Nearly half the waitlist is now cleared as the terminal multiplexer moves toward wider access.
Rex’s rollout is becoming a serious platform test, not just a macOS app beta: its client/server architecture targets persistent, agent-friendly developer workflows across devices and operating systems.
- –iOS access validates Rex’s promise of picking up long-running sessions from mobile.
- –Linux and FreeBSD server support gives infrastructure-heavy teams a path beyond macOS-only testing.
- –Rex’s CLI and built-in agent tooling could make terminal sessions programmable for coding agents and automation.
- –Rapid invite expansion should reveal whether reliability, remote access, and support quality hold at scale.
