Ideogram Vector launches on fal with editable SVGs
Ideogram Vector generates editable SVGs from text prompts, converts existing images into vector graphics, and supports reference images for guided output. The fal deployment exposes both text-to-vector and image-to-vector workflows through API-ready endpoints.
This is a meaningful step toward making generative design outputs usable beyond static mockups: developers can generate assets that remain editable and production-friendly.
- –Text-to-vector supports quality controls, aspect ratios, reproducible seeds, up to eight outputs, and five reference images. [fal.ai](https://fal.ai/models/ideogram/vector/text-to-vector)
- –Image-to-vector accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP inputs up to 50MB, with default and simplified shape modes. [fal.ai](https://fal.ai/models/ideogram/vector/image-to-vector)
- –Text-to-vector costs $0.13–$0.20 per SVG, while image-to-vector costs $0.10 per SVG.
- –Native SVG output could reduce manual tracing for logos, illustrations, icons, and brand assets.
- –“Editable” does not necessarily mean cleanly organized paths, so production workflows should still validate and simplify generated files.
