Mastra adds secure Railway Sandbox execution
Mastra has introduced integration support for Railway Sandboxes to enable secure, isolated code execution for TypeScript AI agents. The integration runs command-line execution, script runs, and write operations inside ephemeral Debian Linux VMs to protect the host infrastructure.
Isolated sandboxes are becoming standard infrastructure for agentic AI frameworks as developers require safer code-execution environments for autonomous agents. While E2B has long dominated this space, Mastra's integration with Railway increases competition and provides TypeScript developers with choice.
* Security isolation: Prevents untrusted AI-generated code from compromising host application servers.
* Multi-provider strategy: By supporting Railway alongside E2B and Daytona, Mastra ensures developers are not locked into a single sandbox provider.
* Zero-config scaling: Railway's serverless sandbox architecture fits well into standard modern web application deployments.
