MCP server fragmentation hits critical mass

The "Wild West" era of MCP is ending as the community demands a reliable package manager for AI tools to replace fragmented GitHub searches. While Smithery.ai and mcp-get are emerging as the "npm" for MCP, they have yet to reach critical mass.
