Supercut pipes recordings to agents

The interesting move here is not “video app adds AI,” it’s Supercut trying to become the context layer for agent workflows. Permission awareness is the right wedge if they want this to live inside real company workflows instead of being another toy connector.

• –MCP support lowers the integration cost for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other assistant clients
• –Permission-aware access matters because recordings often contain sensitive internal context that shouldn’t be dumped into a generic RAG pipe
• –Semantic search plus transcripts, frames, comments, and reactions makes the recordings useful as structured work artifacts, not just media
• –The strongest use cases are likely support triage, product feedback loops, release walkthroughs, and turning calls into follow-up tasks
• –This is still only valuable if teams already store meaningful knowledge in Supercut; otherwise it’s a nice demo with limited day-to-day pull
