Tiny Little Office Launches Link-Native Office Suite
Aboard’s free, MIT-licensed Tiny Little Office packs ten lightweight office apps into shareable URLs, including word processing, slides, spreadsheets, diagrams, calendars, and trip planning. Documents live in URL fragments by default, with local saving, exports, an API/CLI, and an llms.txt guide for agent-generated files. Tiny Little Office is less a Google Workspace replacement than a compelling counter-design: disposable, link-native artifacts that agents can create and humans can pass around. Its constraints are the product—excellent for small documents, awkward for collaboration, media, and anything too large for a URL.
- –URL-based storage keeps documents private by default and avoids accounts or backend databases, though shared links can expose their contents.
- –Agent integration is unusually concrete, with an API, `npx` CLI, Claude Code skill, and machine-readable documentation. [GitHub repository](https://github.com/aboard-io/tinylittleoffice)
- –Embeddable documents let users nest spreadsheets, diagrams, and animations inside pages or slides, creating a surprisingly composable publishing format.
- –The tradeoff is obvious: no real-time collaboration, no video or image uploads, and long links that become unwieldy outside lightweight sharing.
- –Hacker News feedback is already circling the right next steps—live collaboration, file import, and stronger handling for tools such as the trip planner. [Hacker News discussion](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=50096142)
