Supabase Schema Visualizer gets direct table editing
Supabase has updated its Schema Visualizer to allow editing tables directly within the diagram view. This reduces friction during database design by letting developers make schema adjustments while seeing the entire architecture.
Visual database design becomes significantly more practical when you don't have to leave the map to make changes. Supabase's update bridges the gap between high-level architecture and low-level schema definition.
- –Eliminates context switching between the high-level schema map and individual table configuration editors
- –Helps developers maintain structural awareness of relationships and foreign keys while tweaking columns
- –Reflects a growing industry trend of bringing consumer-grade UX to traditional backend infrastructure
