Local LLM Manager 0.2.0 Adds Multi-Host Recipes
Local LLM Manager 0.2.0 adds a browser dashboard for running vLLM, SGLang, llama.cpp, MLX, and experimental TensorFold recipes across DGX Spark, Apple silicon Macs, and Linux machines. It also introduces hub-agent management, portable recipes, model-weight transfers, schedules, and live endpoint metrics.
This is closer to a lightweight local-inference fleet control plane than another chat UI, especially for developers juggling heterogeneous hardware.
- –YAML, JSON, shell-script, and Docker recipe imports make working setups reproducible and portable.
- –Hub-agent orchestration lets one dashboard manage models across Sparks, Macs, and Linux hosts.
- –Resumable, SHA-256-checked weight copying reduces the friction of keeping large models synchronized.
- –Live tokens-per-second, request, KV-cache, temperature, and GPU metrics add useful operational visibility.
- –The trade-off is setup complexity: users still need to manage networking, runtimes, credentials, and hardware compatibility.
