super.engineering Adds Visible Browser Control
super.engineering’s new browser-control UX lets developers watch agents click, type, test purchases, and inspect rendered interfaces in real time. The workflow surfaced a light/dark-mode contrast bug that ordinary code checks could miss.
Visible browser execution makes agentic development substantially more trustworthy because developers can verify what the agent actually sees, not just read an action log.
- –Enables end-to-end testing of forms, checkout flows, responsive layouts, and theme variants
- –Catches visual and accessibility regressions that static tests may overlook
- –Makes agent behavior easier to audit and correct during live runs
- –Explicit workspace permissions and prompt-injection warnings are important safeguards
- –WebKit-based testing may still require separate Chromium validation for browser-specific behavior
