Open-H3-Regenerate-2K opens 4K H3 refinement
NVIDIA’s open refiner LoRA turns 384P–768P drafts into native 768P, 1080P, 2K, or 4K video in three diffusion steps. On one B200, the optimized pipeline processes a 5-second 2K clip in 22.45 seconds—about 3.9× faster than the standard path.
This is a meaningful opening of MiniMax H3’s previously closed high-resolution stage, though its headline speedup depends heavily on NVIDIA-specific inference optimizations and B200 hardware.
- –A frozen H3 transformer plus one refiner LoRA keeps training and deployment simpler.
- –Latent upscaling avoids the costly decode-resize-re-encode cycle.
- –Three Euler steps redraw detail at the target resolution while preserving motion and composition.
- –The refiner accepts drafts from other video models, including LTX-2 and SANA-Video.
- –Local developers can now adapt the workflow instead of relying exclusively on MiniMax’s hosted H3-Regenerate-2K API.
