Clerk CLI automates Apple app setup

Clerk’s CLI now configures iOS and macOS projects, including SDK installation, native registration, supported capabilities, associated domains, and optional Sign in with Apple. Agents can run `clerk init` to handle much of the previously manual Apple Developer and Xcode setup.

// ANALYSIS

Clerk is turning native authentication setup into an agent-friendly workflow, removing one of the most tedious parts of Apple development. Developers should still review generated signing and production configuration before shipping.

  • –Detects existing iOS and macOS SwiftUI projects
  • –Handles Bundle ID, Apple team, native registration, and capabilities
  • –Can scaffold new SwiftUI projects with `clerk init --starter`
  • –Supports non-interactive agent workflows with structured JSON output
  • –Keeps Xcode and final Swift integration in the loop for customized apps
