Intel Heracles speeds encrypted compute
Intel demoed Heracles, a prototype accelerator for fully homomorphic encryption that ran key encrypted-compute operations up to 5,547 times faster than a Xeon CPU. The pitch is simple: make private cloud queries and smaller AI workloads feasible without ever decrypting the underlying data.
